Navigator Metro uses ESRI shape data, this is the internationally mapping format that is used by vehicle navigation systems. Our servers contain an up to date national database of this data, it is automatically downloaded to the client PC. At regular intervals the PC will check for updates to ensure that your system is always using and displaying the correct map and routeing data.
